Description

This class is designed to help adults step into the world of acting either professionally or as a part time hobby.   The Adult Acting class is run similar to professional classes in NYC and LA, students work on scenes and monologues and often bring in audition material to prepare for  future auditions.  While the primary technique taught in this class is Meisner Technique, other influences include: Stella Adler, Viola Spolin, Terry Schreiber, Barrow Group, and Stanislavski. Students develop the skill to listen to their acting partner as well as their instinct and truthfully re-act to what has been said.

Recital

If students decide to have a recital the final 1/2 hour of class, June 3rd at 8:30 PM, will be a presentation of the scenes worked on in class.

Additional Information

Spring classes run for 8 weeks, from April 8th through June 3rd.

In the event a class is canceled due to inclement weather the make-up class will be held on June 10th.
